It’s Monday, are you serious? Where did that weekend go? Here I am again in my pj’s but hey, who doesn’t love being in comfy pj’s hanging out at home? I can never have enough pairs and these cute ones from Zed Designs are just delightful. Plus they come in so many colours you really should check them out.
Was a 5 show extravaganza for Mr Jon Bazar “He says “music soothes like medicine, I use it to cope and survive.” He is open to all music but his passion lies in the acoustic sound.” today, so I was at 5 venues….Phew. Jon never fails to deliver and always gives a dynamite hour of acoustic Bazar’d covers and fantabulous originals. If you haven’t hear Jon perform your missing out. Catch his show at Marienplatz o9/04 12pm slt.
Started the day off at M&V Musicland and caught the last half of Rosette Nitely’s set.“A cosmopolitan recording artist who has been living in the shadows of the legends of popular music. She has now stepped out into the spotlight to perform her favorite music of all time. Her influences include some of the greatest Pop, Rock, Country, and Latin recording artists of all time.” Great set, so energetic and great covers. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a video sample of Rosette or an upcoming performance but when I do I will post it.
Next stop was at End of Time where I listened to the Spanish styling of Lovesongs Writer streaming from Columbia. “Songswriter guitar player, latino music, original style romantic and rythme caliente hispanamerican music.” If you like spanish music and sultry love songs you’ll love this performer. Catch Lovesong when he’s back at End of Time 14/04 12pm slt.
Surfside Hideaway was the scene of not only good music but also Donna Kornberg, one of the Venue Owners Rez Day. Happy Rez Day Donna:) Bronze 8020 “genres of music include anything from Classic Rock to Country to Folk to Blues to Irish ditties and much more. You will hear songs from The Beatles, The Eagles, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Bee Gee’s, Don Mclean, Elton John and his songlist rocks on.” serenaded the Rezday girl with his great covers of days gone by in his smooth style. Bronze can be seen at Acoustic Cave 12/04 12pm slt.
Moving on to Ecand for Mondays Originals and More, Rock Doghouse “Live Songwriter / Musician in every dimension, world, time and space”, played his remarkable originals for a solid hour. A man of a million originals. Your going to want to see this one. Find rock at New England 15/4 5pm slt.
Last stop of the night was at Rhi’s Poem for the ever lovely and melodic Stephanniyah Sinatra. ”has been singing for as long as she can remember. She has always turned to music to restore and rejuvenate. While others may meditate, hike, pray, and sweat it out at the gym; she finds comfort and solace in her music.” As lovely as her voice, Steph entrances her audience who listens mesmerized by her every word and note. Check Steph out yourself at Stardust Cafe 09/04 8pm slt.
